PA State Budget Proposal
Governor Rendell released his
proposal for the FY 08-09 Pennsylvania State Budget in early
February. It was another good year for early childhood
education – with increases proposed for Pre-K Counts, and
important child care initiatives such as Keystone STARS and
Child Care Works.

Day!
Tuesday, May 13th was a banner day in Harrisburg for Early
Childhood Education. Nearly 500 people showed up to speak
with policy makers about the importance of investing in
