Philly LOVES Pre-K

Release Date: September 16, 2014

UPDATE: The Philly LOVES Pre-K Rally was a HUGE success. Hundreds of Philadelphia area preschoolers and their teachers came out to Franklin Square, in spite of the light rain showers earlier in the morning. Children enjoyed tracing their body outlines, which will be turned into a mural that will cover the front steps of the Capitol Building in Harrisburg. They also played a lifesize game of Chutes and Ladders. After Philadelphia Superintendent William Hite and DVAEYC Executive Director Sharon Easterling spoke about the importance of investing in Pre-K, children sang and danced with the Puddle Jumpers, Two of a Kind, and Peter Moses.

Thanks to all who attended!
