Voter ID Law Halted
Release Date: October 3, 2012
Thid week, the Commonwealth Court ruled to halt Pennsylvania's Voter ID law for the November 6th General Election. This means registered voters will NOT be required to show identification at the polls in order to vote this election (first time voters, however, will still have to show photo ID, as before).
Read more about the judge's ruling in the Philadelphia Inquirer.
The last day to register to vote is October 9th. Register to vote or confirm your registration, find your polling place and get election information at www.VotesPA.com.
