Our Web Designers

The Delaware Valley Association for the Education of Young Children (DVAEYC) and The 215 Guys have a bit of history together. When we first started our web design agency in Philadelphia, we assisted DVAEYC with some graphic design and general IT help. Many years later, we were elated when they reached out to us again, but this time to redesign their outdated website. On top of already loving our work, they felt we’d be a good fit since we’ve known them for some time and know their story!

For this special project, we enlisted the imaginative minds of their diverse staff to provide their input on what the new website should be. They were all so tired of the old site, and have been gathering ideas on what they wanted on the new website for years. During an in-depth idea, hash-out session we learned a few things; what pieces of content were most important, what content we could push off a cliff, what the navigation menu should be, and most importantly – how they wanted people to feel when visiting the site.

The excellent feedback we received was more than enough to move forth with building just the site DVAEYC needed. Though their team shared many website examples, we were able to blend them all into a cohesive design. Gladly, they were open to redacting some of their content, in order to provide a clean and ease of navigation for visitors. Especially since they do so much, we wanted to make sure people didn’t get lost while navigating the site, and that they were able to easily find the content they wanted.

On top of that, we also made sure our usual basics were incorporated; responsive mobile and tablet design, a sticky navigation menu, contact forms, links to social media, etc. Launched in early April, their new site (as you see!) is pretty awesome. If you’re just stumbling across this page without knowing much about DVAEYC, check them out! They do some amazingly positive work in our area, shaping the minds that’ll one day make the important decisions in our world.
