Family Child Care Accreditation Program
Being accredited is an indicator for children, parents, employers and communities that family child care homes offer safe, nurturing and educational experiences that meet the needs of individual children. We are pleased to offer professional development, technical assistance for PA Keystone STARS and technical support to achieve national accreditation through the National Association of Family Child Care (NAFCC). This project is generously supported by the Pew Charitable Trust and other local foundations. To learn more, contact Kendra Thomas.

Success by Six Initiative
Coordinated by United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania, this project combines the resources of DVAEYC, Montgomery Early Learning Centers (MELC) and the Southeastern Regional Key to help programs move through the PA Keystone STARS system to achieve at least a Star Three designation. Our goal is to help at least 320 programs over the next five years move to a STAR 3 or higher level. For more information, contact Tara Dwyer.
